The mission of Smoke-Free Denver is to
protect the health of Denver residents, workers and visitors
from the harmful effects of secondhand smoke through a citywide
educational effort on the dangers of secondhand smoke and
the support of a citywide ordinance that would make indoor
public places and workplaces, including bars and restaurants,
smoke-free.
Smoke-Free Denver is a taskforce sponsored
by the Denver Alliance on Tobacco and Health (DATH). DATH
is a community-based coalition committed to reducing tobacco
use and exposure to secondhand smoke, promoting cessation,
and to keeping tobacco out of the hands of kids in Denver.
